"OR she could make an appointment and GO to Vientiane and BUY a real single entry tourist visa."

Could you tell me about this? She is considering flying from Don Muang to Vientiane and then back. How long should she plan to stay in Lao to complete this? Do you recommend a particular "agent" there?

Her current "history" so far in Thailand. (this time)

Arrived here from the USA on Oct. 1 with a 60 day tourist visa that was then extended for one month.

On Jan. 29th flew to Singapore and stayed with relatives for one month. Arrived back in Thailand on Feb. 3 and received a 30 day "on arrival tourist visa".

Then went to immigration in country and got one more month. Her present tourist visa expires April 03.

No "over-land" trips yet.

Indeed. We have found that being born here (both parents USA citizens) means NOTHING to the local authorities.

You can still enter Singapore. BUT, they have just imposed a 14 day quarantine on EVERYONE entering Singapore.

As I said above. The "admitted until stamp" expires on tomorrow. (Friday, Nov. 29)

OK,

Nonthaburi immigration said I did not need to do anything or submit any forms at this time. My landlord simply needs to do the TM30 which he graciously did for me today online.
