I will for sure! We still don't wanna go to BKK. LOL ... we have had to go at least 15 times in the past 3 years. We are not fans.

Got it. Currently, our plan is to have the following ...

1. Certified letter confirming our pension amount from the company

2. Bank certification of our deposits (might be an issue because my husband's name is not on the account)

3. Bank statements for the past year

4. Income affidavit from the embassy.

We will see if we can renew without the affidavit, and if not, then provide it then. Our immigration office is Nakhon Si Thammarat. It's very Thai. Not touristy.

Robert Lagas I read that income verification could be a certified letter on a letterhead from the company you are receiving it from. I have no idea where I read that, but I know I saw it in more than one article.

We have ours scheduled for the 28th already. Still don't want to go though. LOL :/

Yep. We were planning on doing this, but really don't wanna go to BKK, when we meet the monthly financial requirements of 65k per person per month. We just don't have the 800k sitting around. We use our pension to live on.

US Embassy needs no documentation. They are not giving income affidavits after Jan 1. We are considering doing pension documents.

It ALMOST makes it worth going back to the states to do that.

... can you explain a little more on that O-A please? Is it really 2 years? Are there multiple extensions required?
