 A return flight is not necessary, any flight out of Thailand will do. Google onward travel ticket for a cheap solution.

 exactly so transfer the 800k first then start the following month with 65k monthly transfers all showing as international transfers

 RTE London is usually fast, 3 to 5 days typically if your documentation is accepted first time

Depending on the Immigration Office you may not be given a 60 day "Visit Thai Family" on a Visa Exempt entry stamp so go there and ask ASAP then plan accordingly.

You only need ton stay in the UK for as long as it takes to get the new Non-OA issued

 it is the initial Non-O Visa 90 day entry stamp, just like any other for a Non-O purchased outside of Thailand
