That is only applicable when you go twice over land in 1 calender year. Flying in has no limitations in the amount ... only landcrossing is limited by 2... although immigration always have the right to refuse entry on whatever reason.
Hi Stuart. The stampdate means either cross the border that date before 23:59 or get an exemption stamp for another 30 days if applicable which you can do a few days before already. They give you the exemption from the stampdate so you do not loose days if you go before the end of your visa. Good luck!
Bottini. There is no 30 day visa on arrival... you can get a 30day entry stamp :-)
It becomes a bit tricky if you been here 9 months in a row on Tourist visas but in my opinion your case sounds good to go.
Not sure if you want to re enter in the midst of a 60day period. If so get a re-entry stamp. And you can extend every 60 days of your Metv also with 30 days exemption at Samui for 1900b coming to a total of 9 months.
So what if you extend your 60 days instead of flying out? And fly out 30 days later for a new 60 days. And extend that one. And get a re- entry for your 2 weeks away? Let me know if you need some on the spot explanation dear :-)
Lucken she does not have to register herself if she is on a SETV... the place she stays will do that, if her accomodation is not a hotel but rental house its the landlords duty... just have an address of your accomodation handy when you go for extension. They will ask for an address & phonenumber of accommodation, either landlords/hotel/friends place.
