Hey guys, has anyone with a DTV used the egates in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to exit regularly? Given that on entry it still appears to be stamped just want to make sure if I were to use them that this is fine in lieu of an absent exit stamp as I am frequently in and out of Thailand. For reference I have a DTV myself. Thanks!
I applied via the London embassy on Friday morning, on Friday afternoon they asked me for my flight tickets back to Thailand, the e-ticket also had my flight details for my exit from Thailand last week. Now they've asked for copies of my boarding pass out of Thailand and the leaving immigration stamp, but I went through the E-gates! I have the boarding pass but no stamp, how else can I prove this? As I have a British passport there's no stamp into the UK either
On January 12th, I left Phuket airport for the second time with DTV visa, after 26 days in Thailand. The officer spent a long time reading something on the screen and asked me what my activity in Thailand was. I replied that, as a teleworker, I had worked those days for my company in Spain. Why this question? Has anything changed with DTV?
For individuals who have renewed their passport in Thailand, is it necessary to visit immigration to transfer the old stamp to the new passport prior to exiting Thailand, or can I simply present my old passport at immigration alongside the new one?
Hi I visited Thailand back in may this year for two weeks I have noticed in my passport I was stamped in for 30 days but didn't get a stamp when I left. If I remember i used an E gate to leave just scanned my passport. Is this normal or could it be problematic when I return next month ?
I will be cancelling my education extension, and will return to Thailand visa exempt (UK passport) . Question is :
do I need to take my passport to immigration to have the stamps amended?
If yes, and I am unable to do this on the day I depart Thailand (early morning flight), is it possible to do this a couple of days before departure - how long do I have to exit?
I recall reading somewhere there was a grace period of 24 hours, but cannot now find the reference.
Goodmorning! If I will pick up my new passport from the embassy on the morning and I will fly out of Thailand in the evening, I need to transfer my extension of stay? I don't need a re-entry permit, I will let it expire meanwhile abroad.
I have a non o visa (due to marriage). I need to fly back to the UK asap and my visa expires 21st August....so to return obviously I will apply for a new visa in the UK. My question is, because my visa expires whilst I will be in the UK, do I need an exit visa?
