UK Application for DTV.

Additional documents needed.

Does anybody know what kind of answer they’re looking for the last part. Reason for work remotely in Thailand? Is love of the country enough or should I be more specific?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the required specifics for explaining one's reason for working remotely in Thailand while applying for a UK Digital Temp Visa (DTV). Several commenters shared their responses, suggesting that a more detailed explanation about one's remote work situation, business role, and intention behind working and traveling in Thailand may be necessary. Emphasizing the digital nomad aspect and prior work experience may also strengthen the application.

Suddenly there are a lot of digital nomads, and they will probably want to know, if you have been working as such for a while.

Or if you are considering it because of the new visa option.

I wrote a fairly comprehensive letter explaining to them exactly what the business does and my role in it and why I’m able to work remotely.

I told them I was a digital nomad and worked as a freelancer and that I wanted to tour/travel and work in Thailand (it is a tourist visa)
