If I’m on a non-b, 90 day business visa. (I have a Thai company and work permit)

Am I able to come in to Thailand for a couple of weeks, get a re-entry permit, and then leave and come back again on the same visa?

I thought this wasn’t possible, but the last time I left the country (after only having used one month of my visa), the immigration officer at the airport asked me if I wanted a re-entry permit and made me sign something saying that I didn’t want one….

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can obtain a re-entry permit while on a non-B, 90-day business visa. The re-entry permit will not provide additional days; it simply allows you to maintain your current entry stamp while traveling. You can get a single or multiple re-entry permit at a local immigration office or at the airport after check-in.

Yes, you can. But re-entry permit wouldn't give you any extra days. It works when you are back in Thailand with enough remaining days with your first entry stamp. Re-entry permit works as keeping the current stamp 'alive'.

Re-entry permit is available as single or multiple re-entry, and at the local immigration office anytime or the airport on the day of departure after check-in.

@Ellie ******
thank you.

For some reason I thought this was only possible on the one year visa.

I didn’t realise I could do it on the 90 day visa.

This is excellent news as it turns out that I have to leave for 10 days!
