What are the typical processing times for a DTV visa at the Thai Consulate in London?

thanks. i have an affiliate website so no employer, but i got a letter from the company in USA on headed paper to say i am an affiliate for their USA company. will also show affiliate account payments page, paypal receipts from those affiliate payments and registration of my domain name. hopefully will be enough. no business registration.

Hi James. I hope you don't mind answering this question. Are you a sole trader freelancer who does self assessment? I have one main customer who I do freelance work for but no contract with them as I'm self employed. I am wondering if the embassy will still try to get me to ask my client to provide evidence that the work I do for them can be done remotely?. I suspect not, because my client is not my employer? Do you know or is anyone else in a similar position? Thanks

hi, i'm the 100% owner of a LTD company and have accountant do my accounts of which I didn't need to show as had a P60 . I'm not sure what they will ask you for, however the most important thing for them to see you are employed and can work remotely along with the 11k savings it seems. Can you prove employment through your latest p60?

Thank you. You don't have a P60 when you are self employed as a sole trader cos you are not an employee of anyone or any other company. I make income from multiple streams and people pay me for my service.

I declare the income through self assessment tax return and then pay my own tax and NI

that's probably going to be enough (showing a tax return) a long with a letter from yourself. After applying they let you know what further docs they need and the there will be a few options of each thing they are looking for. If you are legit I don't think it's very tricky tbh.

My bet is that people who got it faster, is the people who applied earlier, before the current "wave" of applications.

On a side note, I applied on August 26th (not in the UK, tho), and it's still just sitting on "Pending document check (1)" ever since.
