@Ay ****
There is no such requirement, but it seems plausible it might become a requirement. But that is pure speculation.

Anonym deltagare 571 Many banks or card providers have a limit on how much you can withdraw each time. It can be as low as €200, and the home country bank also has a fee and if you’re staying an extended period of time, for example 5 years, you will pay a lot in fees just to access your own money. Then if you’re going to use all these other apps as work around to be able to scan you will pay even more in fees.

Anonym deltagare 683 I don’t know much about UK visas, but do they offer one where you can stay 5 years but are not allowed to open a UK bank account?

Anonym deltagare 683 DTV allows for a stay up to five years, so whats your point?

Anonym deltagare 683 Do you stay 5 years in each country? Then yes, it sounds like it would be convenient to have a local bank account then.

There quite big differences between those visas. One is 60 days each entry during 6 months, the other 180 days each entry during 5 years.

Why are you intentionally missunderstanding? You know very well someone with a DTV can leave and come back the same day for 5 years.
