to be more specific it was a TM47 form & no it is not stapled in my passport. This was my 1st "permission to stay" and have not had to report before, I border bounced . Which as I said is why I couldn't understand the reason for the IO filling out the form. But hey ho maybe he just liked paperwork 🤔
Colin My comment is in response to the later end of YOUR post regarding obtaining statements from Bangkok bank showing payments are international from the main bank .
You didn't know if it was true, well I have kindly shown you that email receipt you would receive.
You can register with Bangkok bank to receive email alerts when you receive international funds. I also use Transferwise and the sending bank code can be seen FTTFRWUK
when you were in the UK did you do it in person or by mail, sending it via Royal Mail Special delivery tracked, including the same for return plus £10 postal order the cover fee ?
Tony so did you then have to send it back to Thai embassy in London to obtain the legalisation and get the 1st RED SEAL ? And if so how did you provide a return addressed envelope with, I guess UK stamps ?? As it would need to be tracked .
