Normally the information the company you wish to work for provides in order to apply for a Non-B visa is targeted at a specific consulate

20k cash in baht or other major currency per person or 40k per family. Accommodation booking. An exit ticket

Anonymous participant you need to look up the definition of work in Thai law. Working in Thailand, remotely or otherwise, without permission is a breach of the law unless you have permission to do so via either a work permit or via an appropriate visa. A soft power dtv doesn't provide such permission

@Jordan ****
except at the Laos borders they are not letting you leave Thailand unless you can show how you will get back in

Do not apply for soft power if you intend to work remotely from Thailand. You need to use the workation option to legally work like that

You definitely need an ending balance over 500k baht everywhere but some want to see that every month for 3 months or longer. Other consulates stipulate the amount in the local currency which might not equate to 500k exactly

But if you are eligible for a Non-O visa it seems to me the simplest thing for you to do would be to get a 12 month extension of stay each year then you can come and go as much as you please

@Pascal ******
the DTV has no option for visiting a partner. If you want to get a DTV to apply for one of the soft power activities then decide what activity you want to do then look for an approved provider in the area you want to be

Nobody can give you a definitive answer. If you're worried I'd get a visa
