Quite a long list of border crossings. No indication of how long they will be closed for.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent discussion highlights ongoing concerns about border crossings into Thailand, especially regarding restrictions and their impact on travelers and expats. While some sources mentioned closures and immigration policy changes, other commenters provided updates indicating that checkpoints are still operational and border runs are possible. Many expats voiced frustration over uncertainty and the implications of rapid policy changes on their travel plans.

The border checkpoints are open. I'm doing a border run this week and the Visa company said it's business as usual. There was an incident on 28th, three days ago. Things have deescalated. So much fear mongering online, first the banks now this.

yeah I'm preparing just in case with a flight to Singapore, but everything indicates business as usual and the situation has been peacefully de-escalated.

What makes you think it'll kick off again?

With Thailand getting more and more aggressive with its immigration policies and how it is gearing it towards basically robbing anyone that comes into the country by just the flick of a pen when it comes to their Banking and immigration policies I would not be surprised if Thailand's at fault for this because Thailand tends to change things and not care about the repercussions especially in regards of the legalization of a particular plant and now trying to as we like to say put the toothpaste back in the tube that's just going to end up causing more conflicts here in Thailand there needs to be policy change in this country really just towards other aspects because such radical changes lead to dire consequences to those uninformed keep your heads up people stay safe

I am currently in Cambodia with my thai registered motorcycle. I entered through one of the now closed border. They gave me up to June 11th to come back to Thailand through the same border because they kept my green book…. What am i supposed to do other than hope this shit does not last that long?

I'm thinking about regular tourists passing through Thailand and Cambodia not necessarily visa run people living in Thailand.

It will inconvenience many on both sides of the border, benefiting absolutely no one! Resulting in a loss of income for both countries which both can not afford! I suggest the nationalistic zealots on both sides should wake up,and realize that we're in the 2000s,well into them, and not in medieval times anymore! Grow up for f--ks sake!
