I applied for non B visa in my home country since August and waited until early October without hearing from the embassy. Then I left my country to another country while still waiting only for them to invite me for interview by November and I was already in another country hence will need to fly back. Now I've emailed the embassy to cancel the application but they've not replied me nor cancelled the application as the status is still saying request interview and I was thinking of reapplying for the same non B from my current country where I will remain present for a while and available if there's interview invite.
Please will my new intending non B application be affected by the previous application that the status is still in request interview even though the embassies are different as well as the countries?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a Non-B visa in their home country but is currently abroad and has not heard back from the embassy after requesting an interview. They are considering canceling their application and applying for a new Non-B visa in their current country. The main concern is whether the pending status of the first application will impact the new application, especially since the embassies and countries are different.
