Everyone keeps telling you to update your bank book and they are correct. What nobody mentioned is that you need some type of activity in your account the day you update it/go to immigration. Do a 100 Baht ATM withdrawal for example and then update your bank book.

Recommend you contact the airline.

If you don't have access to someone who can translate for you then recommend you download the Google Translate app to your phone and use the camera function for on the fly translation.

I lived in Greece and sent my daughter to Greek kindergarten. She did fantastic, picked up the language lucky-split, and certainly wasn't traumatized.

Recommend the 800K method. If there is a mistake in just one of your monthly transfers and the transfer is NOT documented as an international deposit, you will need to scramble to resend another 65K, to try and get the deposit listed as coming from outside of TL. If you just put 800K in an account, the potential problems with xfers is alleviated.
