How much does immigration charge for a multiple entry stamp for a Non-Immigrant O-A Visa in Thailand?

I need to purchase a multiple entry stamp for my retirement visa (I think the proper name is Non Immigrant O-A Visa.) Can any of you tell me how much immigration will charge me for the multi-entry stamp?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-Immigrant O-A Visa is, in fact, a multi-entry visa for the first year but shifts to single entry in subsequent years. To secure multiple entries while holding an extension of stay, you can acquire a re-entry permit for 3,800 Baht or a single re-entry permit for 1,900 Baht. It's critical to distinguish between having a visa and an extension of stay, as this affects your ability to get a re-entry permit.

(Bill) ;) IF you went to the immigration office paid and 1900baht you do NOT have a Non-O-A visa :O you have what's called a yearly extension of stay

You can ONLY get a Non-O-A visa from a thai consulate in your country BEFORE you come here.

This is what an extension of stay looks like. If you have this stamp in your passport you can get a re-entry permit at the immigration office where you got your extension OR you can get it at Suvarnabhumi or Dom Mueang before you fly out

yes, I only have 7 months remaining on my visa, but I opted for the multi entry anyway.

A single re-entry stamp will cost you 1,900 Baht and a multiple re-entry permit 3,800 Baht. I always take multiple re-entry permit.

Just got my multi-reentry permit at the Chonburi office. Took less than 30 minutes. This group has proven to be invaluable. Thank you again!!

nope, you don't have a Non-O-A visa, you have a yearly extension of stay. :/

When you leave thailand you'd need to get a re-entry permit and then when you come back you'd get stamped in until the 29th of March 2019 (the expiration date of your extension).

You can apply for a new yearly extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current one (meaning any time after about Feb 28th or so next year).

a re-entry permit looks like this

Todd, yes this is the type of visa I have, and thank you very much, for the clarification. If I may, I just have a couple of additional questions? My "Extension of Stay" expires on March 29th 2019. If I were to leave the country, and fly somewhere (Kuala Lumpur for example) when I come back will I be stamped back in for an additional year, or will I need to renew my Extension of Stay a couple of months before it expires?

Perhaps you may want to take a look at your passport and let us know exactly what type of visa/extension of stay you have so precise recommendations can be provided.

Single re-entry permit 1000bt, multiple re-entry 3800bt. As
@J**
says you dont need it for the validity of the OA visa

The O-A Visa is Multi- Entry in the First Year but not in the Second Year

If you have an O-A visa, its already a multiple entry visa. If it is indeed an O-A.
