The only 5 year visa is the 5 year version of the Thai Elite Visa which costs 500,000 THB.

You don't need a non O before you get a non B. Anyone can get a non B.

I wish I could go and encamp in HK for a week. The again I can do it in Macau anytime and pop over to HK as needed.

Yes they will. I've done 2 there back to back without needing the WP application.

Related question Tod, which you may know the answer to. If someone were to temporarily move to somewhere that did allow a WP on a retirement extension, but set up their company in Bangkok could that work? I'm still unsure whether I need a Bangkok company and separate company registrations for operations in Phuket, Pattaya, etc, or whether a company created in BKK can operate across the entire country.

I got my first non b because I planned to setup a company. My funding was delayed so I had to get another one.... Unfortunately my funding is still delayed so I'm going to have to switch back to a tourist visa.
