Heads up to anyone planning to try and get two back to back Non B visas in Ho Chi Minh.
You will have to show a flight out of Bangkok when you go to get the second Non B.
This may be a massive problem as your Thai sim card won't work meaning you can't get the SMS from your Thai bank and your visa card won't authorise the purchase of a ticket using the airasia app on your phone.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Those applying for back-to-back Non-B visas in Ho Chi Minh City may face complications such as needing to show proof of an onward flight from Bangkok for the second visa application. This can create difficulties if the applicant's Thai mobile SIM does not function, impeding access to necessary SMS for bank transactions or online bookings. Suggestions in the community include using cash to purchase tickets at airline counters, having an employer book tickets, or contacting local travel agents for assistance. Some users share their frustrations about the lack of a credit card and challenges faced when attempting to book flights under such circumstances.
Follow-up: put paperwork in with printouts of flight out of Thailand yesterday, and collected passport after 1:30pm today. They've given me a second back to back single entry non B visa.
There is quite a bit of Thai written on it, perhaps someone in this group can translate.
The girl in the consulate was quite helpful. I even checked with her that *if* I don't put my application in until tomorrow (Wednesday) would they be able to process it in time for me to fly back to Bangkok on Thursday. She said they would.
The company formation I put on hold because the funds had dried up. I really didn't anticipate this problem here in Saigon after the awesomely easy experience I had 3 months ago.
I'll get a friend in Bangkok to do it. I'm not employed at the moment, I've been setting up a Thai company but my investor failed to provide funding for the past 4 months (long story) so I'm broke and I wasn't able to get the Thai company ready in time, hence needing a new Non B.
