Thanks. I've had a place in BKK for over 30 years. But we're in Mexico waiting it out. Getting into Thailand is like applying to uni. Too old for that :)

Peter van Splunder: The point is, if people ride in the bus or subway together, it really doesn't make any difference if they also walk the streets late at night, stroll in a park or go to a pub. If they are not "working," it is because people can see that this kind of approach is absurd.
