Happy 2024, Group members!

I asked my landlord for an updated copy of my TM30 because Immigration said the old one was blurred. She can no longer access it on the Immigration website (the original TM30 application was filed a year ago).

Is the proper procedure for me simply to file a new TM30 application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your old TM30 is no longer accessible due to blurriness, your landlord will need to file a new TM30 application through the updated system. This new process requires landlords to upload necessary documents for approval before submitting the TM30. Filing a new application is the only way to obtain a valid proof of the filing, as the previous filings cannot be retrieved from the old system.

once the land lord files a new TM30, they can 'export' the saved data and print out an "official" TM30 receipt (unlike the old system where you had to take a screen shot)

There is a new TM30 program that your landlord will have to apply to use, upload documents to get the approval to use the system and then they can file a new TM30 for you

Filing a new one is the ONLY way you can get proof that one was filed, the new system can't access any TM30 previously filed on the old system.

Hi Tod I have a retirement extension with reporting every 90 days do I still need a TM30 please ?

@Alan *****
of course you do, the visa you have and that you do 90 day reports does NOT mean you don't need a TM30 filed for where you live

fwiw the new system can’t access TM30s that have been filled on the new system more than 7 days ago either

right, the OLD system could access TM30's filed years ago, if you put in the correct search parameters but this new system has just a 7 day window to recall filed TM30 info πŸ˜• Doesn't really make sense but it is what it is

Thanks a zillion, Tod. I'll advise my landlord. I'll turn off further comments.
