if you already have the 12 months extension then you can renew it elsewhere. I got my first one in Pattaya and renewed in Chumphon with an updated TM30

are you sure, I got a 90 day extension and a one year retirement visa (in my passport) and my visa extension in Chumphon

this is not correct I received my original 1 year in Pattaya and my 1 year extension in Chumphon.

By “looking after the financial side of things” do you mean that you do not have the required funds in a bank?

This does not seem overly expensive if that is the case. Why not use your original agent?
