this is a multientry visa.

Which means once you have it you are able to enter and exit at will for 5 years.

There is no need to prove anything after the first application.

IF you were to try and extend in country then you will need to reconfirm money and criteria.

So as long as you leave every 179 days, you can cone right back, no questions asked.

The money is only required in the account 2 mths before application and until stamped for a year.

Some offices may or may not accept a term deposit.

With the increased allowance there will also be increased scrutiny of possible abuses.

You cannot live in Thailand on tourist stamps as some have done.

Thailand is offering many options and good lengths of stay.

If you go non-o you do not require any checks.

No medical

No criminal

No health Insurance

These are OA specific checks.

If you qualify and have the 800k,

Obtain the 90 day non-o visa based on retirement (not OA) BEFORE you come thru the evisa system.

It's extremely easy, just upload docs.

Then when you arrive you will have an easier time opening a bank acct. or 2, with a visa and a residence certificate from immigration.

After that money is transfered you apply for 1 yr.

Do not waste your money on an agent.

if the money is coming thru a numbered or shell company without a name, and you are a digital creator (porn or not) it would qualify.

The DTV is the easiest and will be the most abused Visa ever!

It is sooooo simple to get, people are going to figure that out pretty quik.

I am still shocked it exists in its current form.

you do not need a Thai bank account for foreign Embassy qualification.

You only need a Thai Bank account for in-country visas and extensions.

I am not on a DTV, as per Thai immigration this is the rule.

Dependant is just that, same as the other visas.

The DTV financial requirements is 500k per family.

Primary visa holder 500k,

Dependants included.

But all must pay the Visa fee and for extensions in country.
