a non-o starts as a 90 day visa and 1 yr extensions, you require 800k in Thailand bank for the extension (or the original 90 day if obtained in country.)

Can be obtained from home or in country.

An OA is a 1 yr visa obtained from your home country only.

Using proof of funds only from home.

It requires health insurance

Police check

Medical

It allows multiple entry and can be be stretched to almost 2 years as you get 1yr on each entry. *as long as you have proof of insurance.

No money needed In Thailand.

Okay Jomtien wants the 800k for 2 months prior to application for the original visa.

Most offices require:

Bank letter

Bank statement

Updated Bank book - last line must show date of application

Currently I don't know of any domestic airlines that will allow pets on board.

Bangkok Airways owns the airport in Koh Samui.

@Mazen *******
what visa do you currently have?

You can apply for a "60 day visit Thai family" extension one time at your local office.

No need to leave.

This will give you 6o days to fix your new home information.

Then you apply for your Thai wife visa/extension.

@Mazen *******
you should apply for 60 day visit Thai family.

Get your affairs in order, tm30, contracts etc. For your new home and then apply for the visa/extension.

Make sure your local office will allow.

Israeli for a brief time were allowed an extension due to the war (similar to the Ukraines).

This program was discontinued a while ago, (as well as the Ukraines). If I remember it was February or beginning of March

They are not allowed any longer than 1 x 30 day extension per entry again.

So it is possible he was telling the truth.

If you are legally married (and you can prove it):

30 days visa exempt

30 days tourist extension 1900b

Plus and extra

60 days Visit Thai family extension 1900b

Total 4 months.
