Does someone got approved for the DTV remote worker with dependents spouse and young kids? Do you need to provide a bank statement for family members or the DTV remote worker only? My embassy wasn’t able to give me a clear answer about it. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the application process for the DTV remote worker visa in Thailand when including dependents such as a spouse and young children. A community member seeks clarification on whether family members need to provide individual bank statements or if only the primary applicant's statement suffices. Other comments indicate that the financial requirement for the visa is 500,000 THB for the family and that proof of funds must be in the primary applicant's name. There is also confusion about the timing of submitting applications for the main applicant versus dependents.
you are supposed to do the main applicant one first and then when it got approve you do dependents because depends needs to show the DTV visa but I’m my embassy they told me you can do both together so a bit confusing. I haven’t done it yet
yes but dependents are dependents my kids are 2 and 5 how can each provide 500 000 bath on a bank account they don’t have? My embassy was very unclear and to be honest I don’t want to risk paying all those fees for nothing
I would say that if the money is just in your name it should still be fine, but what I can't say is if you provide proof of the said money just once and if it wouldn't support the required amount three times, if that would then also be fine. The universally published requirements imply that it would then not suffice.

The DTV financial requirements is 500k per family.
Primary visa holder 500k,
Dependants included.
But all must pay the Visa fee and for extensions in country.
I know but read my question. About dependent spouse & child which bank statement they have to show their own ones? Or because they are dependent the bank statement of the person who initially submit the visa request which makes sense but not clearly explained
I am submitting a statement in my name. If a joint account it has to show enought $$ to cover all. That's for a spouse dependant DTV. Every consulate has different requirements so it comes down to where you are applying. This is Vancouver consulate.

You can start the application, and can pause it at any time, if you need get more documentation, and then restart from where you left.
