Anonymer Teilnehmer 979 well… cases of uninformed immigration officers… officer that made a mistake stamping the wrong date (happens all the time and its why its recommended to check your passport! not dtv related)…. easy 1-3 questions that can allways happen in any immigration process, cambodian border tensions… i dont see anything crazy in these cases.

its about anonymous posts that claim hilarious things. getting denied at the border, etc…

because i base my opinion on facts, evidence and own experience… i will not believe someone with a crazy story who posts anonymously. someone who cannot be trusted… you believe anyone, right? 😅 pretty crazy actually… people could talk all kind of nonsense and you would fall for it….

the fearmongering posts are allmost always from anonymous users. just anecdotes. no evidence at all. so yeah, i question their authenticity.

i use a longterm travel insurance for young (<50) people from my home country. its way way cheaper than all those expat insurances. can do that for 2-5 years. later probably switch to an expat insurance, but why waste money now 🤷‍♀️

Anonymer Teilnehmer 237 i didnt want to open one. 3 years and not need. had plenty of options to open an account, especially when i was on ED visa before. just sharing personal experiences.

i live here for 3 years and never missed a bank account. dont have, dont need… having one would not even improve my life by 1%…

most of that works with a credit card. others with Wise or Revolut. QR payment only with TrueMoney and yeah the only slight downside. dont need a bank account

in Krabi? not many russians here tbh. its not Phuketsibirsk. and 5mins outside main area in ao nang its already peaceful, quiet and rural. its amazing. stunning nature, beaches, plenty activities and access to all tourist amenities too. best of both both worlds and easy beach town life. dont even need a car here… and immigration you usualy go at 07:20, open 7:30, be the first one and done in minutes. perfect
