in many countries your account will be locked if you cannot provide a national tax id. so why not here? ;) and reporting is getting tighter every year. at some point the authorities will all share the data and then its easy to check the tax id and if tax documents have been filed.
i hope you can proof that that specific €$£ wasnt earned in that year ;)
anyway i am pretty sure that you have to file tax no matter what. even if the result is zero. the DTA will just determine where and how much tax you pay. not where you put in your (additional) documents.
why? because you dont like such an easy approach? :) in other countries its common that a bank requires your tax id and if you dont give these information then your account gets locked.
what if they spin it this way: to have a bank account active you have to hand in your tax documents each year or have whatever document that exempts you. they would put all the workload on the banks.
your ED with a private school is 3 months and can be extended 3 times. yes correct. but you have a stamp in your passport and you would not overstay that stamp and just get the extension. how could you even overstay and think everything is fine? doesnt make sense as you would allways need a new stamp. i guess in OPs case the university canceled the visa but didnt inform him. the stamp in his passport was still valid. so the question remains: how does he know he is blacklisted?
and btw: university ED is a different ED. for the university ED you get a 1 year extension or more stamp. dont know the exact details but its different. its also multiple entry
wouldnt the stamp in your passport indicate the day when you have to leave? if you were not informed by the school that they canceled your visa? i mean the stamp remains and they didnt change anything in your passport. or will they automatically flag you because visa in system doesnt line up with your stamp anymore?
how would you know who is working on person X evisa when its purely online? the logic behind this argument is crazy 🤣 its not like you will find embassy workers in a social media forum waiting for you to talk to them.
