Great question. There are a lot of unspoken disadvantages to the DTV including tax reporting (unconfirmed) but also time frames, jobs, etc.

You could change visas. Find a Thai language school and ask for an ed visa. You will pay again but it will null your DTV. Great question. Your options are limited because technically you have a retroactive tourist visa with higher stipulations.

What if you have to show income proof and have a bad month or two?

Yeah. Again good thinking ahead.

Additionally you could add a portfolio attached to your cover letter showing your actual job output. (It helps a lot)

Cover letter stating you are employed - letterhead.

Could show 3 months of paystubs. Amount is not contingent.

What is, is that you have 500k baht (in your local currency) available for spending.

Bank statements 3 months is good. 1 month has been accepted by most DTV application friends of mine.

Pdf everything into 1 document as the submission size limits are small.

Does that cover everything?

As long as you have the financial needs and a cover letter from your boss to go along with your work contract. Should be no problem. You are not going to have a conversation so let the paper talk for you.

Congrats on your job
