Retirement Visa.. way best option. Sorry for speaking out of turn.. BUT be very very careful about "getting married to your Thai girl friend".. I have heard so so so many stories about the negative outcomes that usually arise from this situation.

Maintaining tight control of your finances and absolutely everything, involving all living arrangements and innevitable nexus with prospective inlaws, is a veritable, potential mine field.

Stay independent totally.. be prudent and extremely cautious.

Good luck.👍👍👍👍👍

Being married to a Thai citizen allows you to apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa (O) (Marriage/Family), ideal for long-term residency. This visa is initially issued for 90 days, extendable for up to one year (12 months) at the immigration office within Thailand.

Key points about the Marriage Visa (Non-O):

Financial Requirements: For a one-year extension, you must demonstrate a monthly income of at least approximately 40,000 THB or have

400,000 THB in a Thai bank account for at least two months prior to the application.

Documentation: You will need your passport, Thai marriage certificate, photos of the couple together, and your spouse's identity documents.

Process: It is usually obtained first at a Thai embassy abroad and then extended there.

Benefits: It allows you to live with your spouse and, if you meet the requirements, provides access to naturalization or permanent residency.
