that’s what I thought. Will ask when we go there as I have all the records of 12 months depositing more than 40k a month into my account (way more) but if you read the paperwork it states otherwise. So like most things here the answer is it depends 🙂
I remember a few years ago I was told at the Poipet land border that the only way to leave on old passport and come back on new was via air. I was in a similar situation and don’t have the ability to get to Bangkok for the swap, Pattaya immigration said they couldn’t do it either.
Just bring a small photo and you can fill in the document yourself at the counter. And have the 1,000 THB for the single or 3,800 for the double with you in cash.
thanks for confirming that. Yes the 7 days is actually an extension denied stamp with 7 days to leave the country. Saw on another thread the exact sequence that has to be followed as well.
Presuming you are on extension of stay your current permission to stay ends the day your employment ends. You can get a 7 day extension at immigration for 1900 B. Now I am not sure if you can get a 60 day COVID extension to tide you over until you can change employers. That’s for the more expert folks as I haven’t seen that one anywhere.
depends how important and uninterrupted non b extension is. For PR and Citizenship unbroken extensions are required. So getting a new Visa and letting your extension lapse means that clock will start again.
