How long does a Visa stamp last when obtained from a Thai immigration office on a free 30-day entry Visa?

can i ask, last time i went to phuket immigration in towm, they wanted a residency certificate to extend. The next time i went a saw a different person and they didnt need one. Do you know whether they should need one or not ?

When Does the 6 Month METV Start: From Issue Date or Entry Date?

As above. 6 months starts from when issued. However you only have to re enter in those 6 months to get a further 60 days, you dont have to leave at the end of the 6 months

Can I Get a 30-Day Extension on My Tourist Visa in Thailand?

Land or air border will get you 60 days but you cant get 32 days at immigration only 30 days and that would then end that visa so youd need a new visa thereafter to re enter

Can I board my flight to Thailand with a 30-day extension if I buy a single ticket out of the country?

Many airlines wont let you board at departure airport if you dont have a departing flight booked before the 30 days is up. At heathrow they always check that i have. Why npt get a visa before you go. Not difficult i wouldnt have thought

Bobbi Samui i travel to and from phuket twice a year for 12 years. As soon as i check in with a ticket with a stay of more than 30 days, they always want to see my visa. And ive travelled with 10+ different airlines in that time too so its not an airline thing
