Maybe silly question but I have 6 month tourist visa, which gives max of 60 days stay per time. I assume I just show them the e-visa at immigration when i arrive and they will stamp my passport accordingly?
Also ive not booked onward travel, and I don't want to until I'm there and settled. I'm worried they might ask me for proof of onward travel.. can I just say I will be booking soon? I can always book a flight there and then if any issues. Would they be OK with that? Thanks in advance for any advice ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a 6-month tourist visa, you should present your e-visa at immigration, and they will stamp your passport for a maximum of 60 days. It's important to print and carry the PDF of your e-visa as you may need it for future entries. You can extend your stay by another 30 days at immigration after your initial 60-day period. Although it's generally advised to have proof of onward travel, many travelers report that it's uncommon to be asked for it if you arrive with a valid visa. If questioned, you can mention that you'll book a flight soon.
print the PDF file of the eVisa, have it in your passport when you go to stamp in. MAKE SURE before you walk away from passport control that they stamped you in on class TR-60 and you got 60 days.
KEEP the eVisa PDF because you're going to need to show it every time you bounce out and back in to get another 60 days
you are unlikely to be asked for onward travel as you're entering the country with a valid visa but if they do, yep, you can book one right while you're standing at passport control
