It's weird that they'd be upset about someone traveling a lot to a bunch of other countries & staying outside of Thailand for months before coming back, bc doesn't that mean they're actually tourists & not trying to live long term in Thailand on a tourist visa? Seems like the kind of people you'd want to welcome into Thailand. They have the money to travel all over so why not be happy they're coming back to Thailand to bring their tourist dollars but won't try to stay too long? Strange.

Only 14 nationalities get the 45 day visa exemption. The US isn't one of them, so requires getting an evisa before arrival. But specifically for Phu Quoc, it's visa free if you arrive from & depart to another country, not elsewhere in VN.

100%, they think it gives them some expat credbility or something, it's so silly. I've been an expat in Vietnam for 20 yrs and have spent a lot of time in Thailand, sometimes months at a time, and I know perfectly well how to deal with Immigration in both countries. That doesn't mean it's something I want to do when there are services that can do it for me 😅

Exactly! It's my time, I can choose whether I want to use it to go to Immigration or pay someone to go for me. Immigration is a big mess and spending an hr or more there is not how I want to spend my time. I appreciate the visa service very much and have used it in the past. It was extremely well organized and worth every penny (so to speak, lol)

Yes, just every step is very organized, and they follow through. I was very happy with them.

I've used that agency before for simple things, they were very, very organized and efficient. Had my Covid extension done in 24 hrs, from time they picked up my passport to time they dropped it back off. I'm not saying that will be your exact experience, and mine was last year, but I would definitely use them again.

The 'PM' in what he's asking for is an additional ingredient, a sleep aid, so it's not just paracetamol..I doubt they have the equivalent to Tylenol PM otc in Thailand..

I've used Thai Visa Centre before, they were really excellent. I have no idea if that's who contacted you, or if this exact company does marketing in that manner. If you need an agent I would contact them directly, not through that email..in case they've hijacked the real place's system.
