I did some research to figure out what paperwork I need to submit in my case. If anyone applied on the same grounds,
could you let me know if this is the right paperwork..?
I have an LLP registered in the UK, I'm the only "person with significant control", working remotely for another EU based company. Came up with this list of documents that I'd have to submit;
Core Visa Items
* Passport bio page (valid ≥ 6 months).
* Recent passport photo.
* Proof of current location in the country of application (entry stamp, visa, hotel/lease, etc.).
* Visa fee payment receipt/confirmation.
Employment Proof (foreign employer)
* Employment Contract (with remote-work clause, signed by Designated Member(me) + Employee(me)).
* Employment Certificate (one-page HR-style letter on LLP letterhead, confirming role, start date, salary, remote work incl. Thailand, and no Thai employment).
* Letter of Intent (personal statement to embassy: purpose of stay, funds, compliance).
Financial Proof
* Personal bank statements (≥ 3 months) showing ending balance ≥ 500,000 THB.
* Bank statements showing transfers from LLP account to personal account (salary trail, ideally 3 months).
Optional
* Companies House Certificate of Incorporation + Current Appointments Report (tying your name to the LLP).
* Client contract or invoices proving LLP’s business activity
So when applying as a business owner, is that pretty much the whole documentation you need to submit? Am I missing anything?
Hi I just wanted to share my experience obtaining the DTV. I applied from Hanoi, Vietnam on 03/21 and used the soft power option, using a cooking school. I submitted the following documents:
- My Vietnam airbnb receipt
- Confirmation letter from the thai cooking school
- Proof of accommodation and flight to Thailand
- A PDF containing 6 months worth of bank statements combined with my offer letter from my US employer. Youre not required to submit an offer letter and i think they only wanted 3 months of bank statements but i wanted to demonstrate that i had sufficient income and that i do not have a thai employer. My boss is also fully aware that im in thailand and supports it
I was asked on 03/24 to submit my Vietnam entry stamp and business registration letter from the cooking school. My status immediately changed to pending approval
Officially approved on sunday 03/31.
When I arrived at BKK airport, all I did was show my DTV visa on my phone and I got my stamp. No questions asked.
I'm currently working full-time and have a work permit and visa but I am considering going full-time online with the DTV visa, is this possible? What would I need to do? Can I prove my work by using a, screenshot of my students, and a spreadsheet of my income etc?
If want to work in Thailand how to find the job that they provide visa or work permit, or do you guys have any suggest agency for recruiting a job in Thailand or not?
