Thanks John. I made a post about this very topic today asking about it. Some people said that it can't be done with the DTV. I'll give it a try. Did you have to upload your passport and proof of DTV? Thanks

thanks. But I only need the number once for the initial account setup right? I usually get tourist Sims each time I visit, so my number is always changing

thanks. I'm OK to use Wise for a bank account, but I'm mainly interested in being able to buy things with QR code, hence why I'm asking about TrueMoney in this post

I'm living in Japan, but am going back and forth to Thailand numerous times throughout the year, usually spending 4-6 weeks in Thailand on each visit, in various places, including Bangkok. But I don't have a long term lease anywhere, I just use various Airbnbs each time
