No they need to see some proof of where you are staying and you need to fill a few forms in and make copies of the pages in your passport

Now unless I’ve got my numbers wrong here’s how it went

/21- last day of my 30 day extension stamp

/21 I walked into jontiem and applied for the covid extension

/21-go back after the under consideration stamp, make a copy of bio page and current stamp,leave passport at the front desk over night, collect in the morning

/21- new extension of stay date stamped in

I’ve heard for the first one it starts the day you apply but I’ve just got mine and it added 60 days on form my last stamp, I applied 5 days before my last stamp expired
