:Which embassy did you apply at? I don't think my clients were contacted, though their email or phone numbers were listed in my documents. If anyone were contacted, I would be informed.

There are posts on successful approval from Vientiane, Hanoi, Phnom Penh and Jakarta. You decide which works best for you.

: Don't mention it, the information is purely based on my experience and accurate at the time of my application. PM me.

: Yes, stay in the hotel while waiting for approval. They will not call, a collection slip will be given to each applicant stating the date of collection. I have listed the documents in the main post. Walk-in application in the morning. There will be a sticker in the passport if the application is successful. I am already in Thailand. Just go through the immigration at the airport and show the sticker. The officer will stamp a date that is 180 days from the day of entry.

: At Kawasan Mega Kuningan. I have the money in my bank, I am not sure about using a guarantor. Printed bank statements from internet banking. Yes, 3 days to process after submission of documents. Your clients or employer can be from any country, except Thailand.

: Print bank statement from your internet banking (I submitted 3 months to play safe). I followed a sample Certificate of employment from the internet, include your passport number and {whatever designation (Remote Worker)}. According to the staff, it is beneficial to submit a portfolio though it is not mandatory.
