If your a citizen of one of the Bubble Countries then I don’t believe that you have to do quarantine. I believe those 3 countries are Japan, Korea and certain city’s in China. According to various reports from multiple sources these 3 countries are Corvid free.
I’m also in a similar situation. The high end tourist from Bubble countries of Korea, Japan and certain city’s in China seems to be the focus of the tourism at this time.
With quarantine costs and dodgy Corvid insurance companies it just doesn’t seem worth it for the time being.
There are lots of people regionally that are for sure having health problems because of the pandemic can’t continue their medical treatment in Thailand some have been going for years.
As far as the airlines are concerned it’s best to try and get ones money back because the airlines might not be in business tomorrow. 🤷♂️
Are any of these insurance companies actually verified ? My insurance company told me that Corvid was too new for a specific coverage on corvid.
The fact that making a Corvid specific insurance makes me but wonder if the real numbers that are being published are real case numbers ?
Keep in mind that so many scams pop up at a time like this.
What does the hospitals say ? what insurance are the hospital’s willing to accept ? or will it even be a hospital? could be some converted office building with cots that is the corvid treatment center?
or is this Corvid insurance in anticipation of tourist coming from the bubble countries of Japan, Korea and select mainland Chinese city’s ?
There seems to be no real checks and balances with this requirement.
Which makes one wonder does the government really want to get the tourism industry back and running again or will the Cambodia example be followed where that $3,000 USD deposit on top of the insurance requirement will do wonders with that tourism market.
