Does anyone know about health insurance to enter the country if it really needs to cover $ 100,000 or is it enough to cover Covid enough?
I would like someone with real information not about rumors

TLDR : Answer Summary
To enter Thailand, health insurance requirements specify that the policy must cover COVID-19 and provide coverage up to $100,000. Not all insurance policies include COVID-19 coverage, so it is essential for the policy to specifically state that the virus is covered. Discussions among expats suggest that many are obtaining policies that meet these requirements, but prices and coverage types may vary significantly, especially for older individuals or those with pre-existing conditions.
so many people asking repeatedly the same questions, without it appears, having done a lick of Google or page search-- some are very clear and easy to find. I love the ones that ask the group for some "inside information " as if the thai or US govts whispered secrets plans to us that no one else knows ?
Are any of these insurance companies actually verified ? My insurance company told me that Corvid was too new for a specific coverage on corvid.
The fact that making a Corvid specific insurance makes me but wonder if the real numbers that are being published are real case numbers ?
Keep in mind that so many scams pop up at a time like this.
What does the hospitals say ? what insurance are the hospital’s willing to accept ? or will it even be a hospital? could be some converted office building with cots that is the corvid treatment center?
or is this Corvid insurance in anticipation of tourist coming from the bubble countries of Japan, Korea and select mainland Chinese city’s ?
There seems to be no real checks and balances with this requirement.
Which makes one wonder does the government really want to get the tourism industry back and running again or will the Cambodia example be followed where that $3,000 USD deposit on top of the insurance requirement will do wonders with that tourism market.
just wanted to ask as me and the mrs have been discussing moving to Thailand but we was worried about heath insurance as I’ve 7 stents in my heart and mrs has a defibrillator which has to be change every 7 years we thought if we could get health insurance it won’t be cheap
this is very difficult, we are contacting the embassy. I was in immigration to ask all the questions but each one gives different information. They are not clear about this 😕
