I don't think Thailand can afford to wait very long to prevent complete economic destruction.

, the death count is totally inaccurate since deaths caused by Covid-19 are being reported incorrectly, or not at all.

, you can not use the coronavirus statistics to determine if a country has low incidence of coronavirus unless you test the entire country at the same time. Low number of tests equals low infection rate, high number of testing, higher number of cases.

, thanks. I have always had a Non-Immigrant O multiple entry visa based on marriage to a Thai national and have always obtained it from the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles. I started to go through the extension process but found it cumbersome along with the 400,000 baht requirement. I only needed to show 750 US dollars in a US bank and the process was easy at the Consulate. I was not aware that the quarantine was reduced to 10 days. I hope that the Thai government reduces it more, or eliminates it once they see how it negatively impacts the tourist trade.
