Hi, I am planning to stay at Thailand for 45 days holding a Malaysian passport.

Follow the law Malaysian passport can enter Thailand visa free for no more than 30 days, hence I am required to apply a tourist visa for staying 45 days.

But recently I saw an announcement on Thailand have chabge their visa policy for some countries to stay in Thailand not more than 60 days instead of 30 days. The policy start on 15th Jul 2024.

Is this true? Should I apply the visa?

If i have had my visa extended to 25th july, will it be ok for me to fly out of and into thailand again? Just found out i need to fly out 1st july for a couple days. I have a Malaysian passport, so have visa exempt.

Can he extend for another 30 days at 3F changwattana immigration with VFS？

If YES, can he go to extend another 30 days on the day arrive ?

Fyi. Just got my visa extension today. Valid until 26 oct. Enter with tourist visa, ppplied with embassy letter, Malaysia passport.

hi all, can i extend for another 30 days at Chaengwattana for visa exemption . i had never extended before. Malaysian passport and for Malaysian we under the unlimited entry criteria. what documents is need for the renewal ? do i need an embassy letter too ? any Malaysian renewed this past few days ? thank you

Hello group. 🙂 I’m holding a Malaysian passport and is currently doing internship in Bangkok which is part of my university program in Brunei. I’m now under ED Visa of 90 days. But it will be expiring on 29 Nov but my internship program will be until 7th Dec 2018. I’ll however be staying after my internship in Bangkok until the 20th Dec. Can anyone provide me some advices on how should I do my visa extension in this matter? Thanks.
