Can I leave Thailand on July 1 and return before my extended stay permit expires on July 25?

If i have had my visa extended to 25th july, will it be ok for me to fly out of and into thailand again? Just found out i need to fly out 1st july for a couple days. I have a Malaysian passport, so have visa exempt.

You didnโ€™t โ€œextend my visaโ€, you got your stay permit extended. A stay permit is not a visa.

So, when you exit Thailand, your current stay permit will become void.

When re-entering Thailand, you will get stamped in visa-exempt for another 30-days stay permit, which you can, again, extend for 30 more days
