Question about getting an investment visa (the one that requires 10 million THB investments): it seems that obtaining this visa requires the applicant to already hold a non-immigrant visa.  This seems like a catch-22 - how do I get the first visa?

I believe that once all the monies were in place a Non-IM visa would be applied for at immigration inside Thailand and then after 3 months the normal yearly extension of stay.
