Hi guys. What is the price range to get a business visa using a visa service company once I have the company set up.

Or is it something I can do on my own? Even tho I don't speak thai.

Because I'm contacting a few lawyers and the prices they are giving me is just crazy.

I need the price for me and get my wife and kid theirs as well.

If you guys know some reliable and affordable visa company I will really appreciate it. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the costs associated with obtaining a business visa through a visa service in Thailand, considering the user has already set up a company. It also questions whether obtaining the visa independently is feasible without knowledge of Thai. Comments provide insights into the costs for non-immigrant visas and share experiences of navigating the process using accountants rather than lawyers. Suggestions for finding reliable visa services are also included.

If you already have your own company in Thailand, and there are active. You can asked Visa Non B from your country and the. your family must be have visa follow you. , now your information are made little confused, I am not sure that now you are in Thailand or still not yet. Many details of this can change or flexible according to details or actual work. For more information you can IB to me.

I've never used a lawyer nor a visa company.

When you set up a company, you'll need a certified accountant. Ask in your surroundings for a good reference. He/she will provide you with all required documents and if needed they can accompany you at immigration or they can send it to your home country where you also can apply for the non-B.

This is how I did it and I used to pay just the monthly 1.000 thb fee for the ongoing accountancy. 2 or 3.000 thb for preparing the Immigration file. I paid 12.000 for setting up the Company Limited and the creation of the DBD COMPANY STATUTES. (That's seperate from the cost for the visa itself ofcourse) This is/was however a few years ago in Chiang Mai but I'm guessing if you see rates more than double of that now, you're getting ripped off. You DON'T need a lawyer for anything else than litigation. As a matter in fact, they probably outsource this kind of work to an accountant themselves and charge you an exorbitant fee for it.

Ben Landman Sure, what else would you like to know?

Ben Landman The problem being is that laws and tegulations change very often and therefore I strongly advise to get with an accountant who's on top of the current situation. Finding and obtaining one might be the single most important thing when setting up a business (anywhere in the world for that matter)

Ben Landman There are many ways to set-up and structure a company. Depending on your activity and so on. Therefore it is best to start with finding and contacting a registered accountant trough referrals. They will find the best solution for you. I started of with a Company Limited without staff. But that used to have it's restrictions. You can't extend your visa within the Kingdom and need to get a new non-B outside the country every year and can't do 90-day reports in your local immigration office, but need to do border bounce. I'm not sure if this is still possible however. Anyway, in the long run it was a lot cheaper than paying for 4 staff who I did not need at all.

could you please share the details of the registered accountant? 🙏

@Aga ******
Go to your local DBD Office and get a list of registered accountants for your area. Or, talk to local businesses in your field of business and ask them who they use. Accountants are area restricted and you need to use an acc. That is registered in the same province as where your business is located and operational. I will send you the details of my accountant in a pm as I'm not sure it is allowed to post here.

thanks alot that's very helpful. That's what I thought. I have us3d visa company in other countries but those guys here in bangkok want to charge me 80.000 bath to help me out with the visa. Its ridiculous. I will do it myself

Ofcourse, been doing that for over a decade. The only thing you can't do yourself is the accountancy and tax filing. But every noodle shop uses an accountant for that paying a small monthly or quarterly fee to a certified accontant. Keep in mind that there's an extra fee for the yearly closing. I paid 9.000 thb every year in february for that.
