Hi. Sorry to reach out again but my daughter's in a fix and running out of options. She is on a COVID extension that expires end of this month. She was on a Non Ed visa before, just graduated from high school. Does anyone here know if it's possible at all to change from a COVID extension visa (stamp) to a Non Immigrant visa? And if you have done it, can you share what type of visa it was and how long it took? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information on whether it's possible to switch from a COVID extension visa, which expires soon, to a Non Immigrant visa after the holder has graduated from high school. They request experiences and details from others who might have undergone a similar process.

What visa does she want to move to?

We just found out that a lot of language schools need one to get the initial visa in their home or neighboring countries. The agencies are quoting an exorbitant price for a Non-Imm visa conversion.

All comes down to the relationship between the language school and their immigration office. It's best to first approach a school and give them your situation. If they can do it they will. Whatever happens it's going to cost, but many schools integrate the visa costs into their tuition costs and give you one price

Non-Ed if it's a possibility.
