ORIGINAL POSTER
American,,, Entered the Kingdom on a 90 day Tourist Visa from the Thai Consultant in Miami, Florida. Applied and received a 30 day extension at Immigration Phuket City. Yesterday applied with all required paper work at Thai Consultant, Penang. Today received passport back with Non-IMM Single Entry. Only comment was, next time have your Embassy stamp proof of income paper. (Had letter from Social Security Administration). My experience!

TLDR : Answer Summary
An American traveler entered Thailand on a 90-day Tourist Visa and received a 30-day extension in Phuket. They later applied for a Non-IMM Single Entry Visa through a Thai Consultant in Penang and were advised to have their Embassy stamp the proof of income document for future applications. This experience illustrates the process and necessary documentation for obtaining a visa extension and conversion to a Non-IMM Visa.
