Wondering how is Visa rules at the moment for crossing to Thailand by land?

(difficult to find info)

I have flight back to Europe after less than 2 weeks and I would like to go by land from Malaysia.

I already crossed by land 2 times this year and once inside 6 months.

Hello everybody. Is there any limit on doing border crossings by land? I already did 2 of them this calendar year via NongKhai (flew from CM to Udon Than, then went to Vientiane by taxi) to get a 60 days tourist visa. I need to get a new tourist visa from Vientiane. It will be the 3rd one and I would like to avoid problems :) An option would be to do everything by air but it's much more expensive so if I can do it again by land that would be awesome. Thank you in advance for your help and advices

Can someone give me some advice on border runs. I did 2 border runs in 2017, my last border run was in November.

Can I do 2 more border runs now in 2018 or do I need to wait until November when a full year has passed to be able to do a border run again.

At immigration in Chiang Rai after extending my 2 month holiday visa was told that I could do the border run again. Just want to be totally sure because the language barrier is always a problem so not sure they understood my question properly.

Thanks
