Hi all, i would like to travel asap to Thailand for tourist purposes. The problem is; the Thai embassy in my country (the Netherlands) is fully booked until the end of the year, and e-visas are not yet issued. I therfore cannot get any Tourist Visa before 2022.

The 30 day visa exempt could be an option but i would like to stay at least 90 days. Besides, I have read that the visa amnesty regulation will expire after the 26th of November. What are my options in this situation? Can I immediately apply for the amnesty after my arrival? Am I even eligible for the amnesty on a 30 day visa expempt?

Hello I would like to ask if I can apply for a retirement visa while I am in Thailand before the 31st of July. I entered on a 60 day tourist visa. I am hear now on amnesty. I have a bank account with the required funds. So are immigration offices giving out the retirement visas before the 31st of July. Or do I have to leave then come back to apply?

Thanks πŸ™

Hi everyone. Although it has been explained so many times on this group already, I'm still having trouble understanding how the amnesty works.

My friend is leaving his job at his current school and needs to go and get his work permit cancelled, so this means that his visa would also need to be cancelled. My question is, does he need to cancel his Non-B visa now, and change it to a tourist visa, or can it wait until the amnesty is lifted? He is trying to avoid going to Chaeng Wattana.

Thanks
