My husband had his first application cancelled because his Chinese visa was issued in Guangdong and he applied in Shanghai because although he had the visa in I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten a visa anywhere in China to know if the process is going smoothly and we were just unlucky enough not to go to the correct consulate or if it is really difficult there. Guangdong he lives in Shanghai.

My wife is a Thai citizen and I am a US citizen. Next month we are flying to Europe with a 24 hour layover in Shanghai China. My Chinese visa is still good but hers has expired. I am assuming that if we want to leave the airport to take a quick look at Shanghai, she will need to renew her Chinese visa, correct?
I heard that Chinese ED visa can not be extended by language school in Thailand now.Right? The immigration started to strict with Chinese visa from some weeks ago. Many Chinese ED visa was refused and repatriated quickly. My visa will be expired on 8 August. It is the last time for extending 3 month in one year. I have already paid 3 times visa extend cost to school. And as required by immigration. I went to the Bangkok royal police to collect the fingerprint. Can I get the last 3 months ED visa by language school smoothly? Anyone knows about it? Thanks!
