Hello,

I am a bit confused , does children under 10years old need an extension visa ? What are the consequences ? Can they re enter the country later ? Can it impact the tourist visa in an other country if they overstay ? Thank you 🙏

My kids under 15 years old is on the tourist visa and they had stayed a week over due. My question is at what point do we have to leave the country to get them a valid visa. Is it asap or do we have X anount of days before we get a big fine?

Hello all 🤗 a lot of mixed info regarding children and visas. I have been told that children under 15 do not require a visa? Does anyone have experience with having children here?

My kids are coming to the end of their 30 day on arrival and I have just done my 30 day extension. Will need to do my visa run on the 20th Nov.

Should I extend their 30 days now or can I just go out with them on my visa run and then apply for their 60 day tourist visa when I do my run.

So my understanding is I won't get a fine. I will just need to ensure I get them onto a visa while I am sorting out a school.

So many mixed views on this part. The school I spoke to seems to think they don't need a visa until 15 so I can do my visa run and sort out their visas with the school they join.

So much red tape I'm scared I risk a nasty fine...

Need an advise:

As my Indian friend is informed from immigration, there is no need of getting a visa for child up to 15 years old if the child is born in Thailand. Both the parents are Indian. Last year, family exited the country without any problem but when returning, the immigration asked for the child’s return ticket. So my friend needed to flight return ticket instantly and passed through the immigration.

Is this the normal process for a child without Thai visa to have return ticket?

Advantage of not getting visa:

No 90 days report, no TM30, no visa fee, no reentry required.

Disadvantage of not having visa:

Reentering thailand needs return flight tickets, and need to book one adult ticket as well.

If there is a way out without booking return flight ticket, it would be great. Thinking of booking a flight ticket via agent and cancel it!

Need an advise/suggestion from the experts in the group.
