Hi, Arrived 1st September on 90 day O to visit Thai family. For various reasons related to proving income decided to settle today for 60 day extension, visit Thai family. When I go back in January for 1 year extension will the stay given be 31st August 2021, or 12 months from today, 22 November 2021.

And secondly, when requested 90 day report form, suprised to be told that I did not need to report as I have just been given extension.? This is obviously different from normal annual extension, as that does not reset your 90 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the duration of stay following a 60-day extension on a 90-day Non-O visa for family visits and the process of 90-day reporting. They were particularly concerned whether their one-year extension in January would start from their initial arrival date or the date of the current extension. Community members clarified that the one-year extension will begin from the expiration date of the current stamp, and noted that the 90-day reporting requirement is not applicable until after the one-year extension is granted.

When you go back to apply for the year extension it will start from the date this current stamp expires

AND

They're right you don't do 90 day reporting yet. You will get a paper in your passport when you get your year extension that will tell you when your first 90 day report is due (like this)

some offices count your FIRST extension as a 90 day report
