Hello! Does anyone have experience with getting a tourist visa in Yangon Myanmar lately?

I'm curious if they will tell you if you are eligible for the tourist visa before you hand in all your paperwork or if they will tell you the next day when you receive and pick up your passport. (hopefully to avoid a VOID stamp).

Also, which embassies would inform you before you submit your paperwork if you're eligible for the tourist Visa or not?

I had travelled to Phuket an year back. Initially when me and my friends applied for a visa from Delhi (India) the visa sticker was pasted and stamped void.

After a week we caught the plane and were given Visa On Arrival without any issues.

Just need to know that does the VOID stamp create any difficulties in my future travel to other countries ?

My job officially terminates by the end of March, and I'm thinking to get a tourist visa. My company had collected my work permit and passport, and returned my passport to me with a VOID stamp on my non-IMM visa and another small stamp saying I can stay until the 6th of April. My question is, will there be any issue or chances being denial a SETV if I go apply before the day I need to leave? Say tomorrow or Thursday.

Want to post my experience with the immigration after getting the Void stamp on my passport. As my last post you guys really helped me to give me the right kind of information. So I catch my flight from New Delhi International Airport. At the flight counter they have asked me that why I got rejected and they asked me to show the return ticket. I showed them and I got my plain. Once I reach at the Bangkok airport. I was in the queue for VOA, 1 lady came to me and ask for my form and my return ticket and asked me to submit my passport at the counter with 2200 Bhat. It took me 20 minutes to get the VOA and I was not asked to show any money or my hotel booking etc. So I have a very good and extremely smooth experience. Thank you all.

Would like to know one thing, I have applied for 2 months single entry Tourist Visa and today I got my passport with the Void stamp. What does that mean? I have a fresh passport and provide every documents they have asked. Initially I Submitted the documents as per the check list, after two days I asked to submit Additional ITR Which I don't have as I am working freelancer. Today I got my passport with Visa and a Void stamp on it.

My question is will it gonna be a negative mark on my passport or my future travel. Suggestions would be appreciated. As I was planning to come there to meet my partner.
