Hello all, has anyone here ever applied for the "Non-O F (Diplomatic Type) Visa for Thailand from Cambodia, provided you were not a "resident" in Cambodia?
I understand some Thai consulates require you to be a resident or national of that said country to be able to apply for such a visa for Thailand.
Any help/advice on this would be much appreciated!
We have tried calling the consulate in Cambodia and they have not been replying / picking up.
Edit: The persons in question are not actually diplomats, they just require this type of visa (UN)
Hello everybody, I was supposed to apply for a non immigrant ED (Internship at the UN) in Vientiane and booked an appointment. I just received the official letter from the UN, and somehow they changed into a non immigrant F (diplomatic visa). To be on the safe side, I wanted to know if the required documents are roughly the same than for an ED (form, passport, photos, official note). I checked on the website of Thai Embassy in Laos and couldn't find any info. Thanks a lot for helping
Is there any visa that obviates the need for 90-day reporting and filing TM-30 forms whenever you travel around? I suspect not, since even the Elite visa requires 90-day reporting.
Does anyone have experience being a paid long-term employee at a Thai nonprofit? Would love any tips and advice on visa options!
There are a couple of local nonprofits in Thailand who would be interested in hiring me, not as a volunteer but paid staff, for extended periods of time (beyond the volunteer visa length).
I've read that the usual requirements for issuing foreigner work permits can be modified / waived a bit if a nonprofit is applying for the permit. I'd love to get as much info as possible so we can be prepared :)
