Hello everyone!

I'll be doing my first covid extension on Koh Samui this week (came on TR visa which has been extended once for 30 days already).

I have unfortunately managed to lose my departure card and will have to get a new one...

Anybody know whether I can get that done at the immigration office or whether I have to go to the police station? I keep reading conflicting information (some also rather long ago) , so if someone could give me some input/clarity it would be greatly appreciated! I think it should be fine either way, but it's making me a bit anxious ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Thank you ๐Ÿค—

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the process of replacing a lost departure card while applying for a COVID extension in Koh Samui. The community suggested going to the police station to file a report for the lost card, as some immigration offices may require this report to issue a new TM6 form. Others indicated that some immigration offices might issue the new TM6 without needing a police report, thus advising the user to check with local resources.

You will get new TM6 at immigration office. Some offices require you to show police report (lost) to give you a new one. Some offices just give you new one without police report. Since police report is for free, go police station to get report in case.

Or ask in Samui related FB group about Samui IO's policy regarding re-issuing new TM6..

Did you take a pic of it on your cell smart phone ?

Go to police station...

File report its lost.

Make COVID Extension application before your current permission to stay date expires and not later than March 30.
